Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Third Officer based in Mumbai. The Third Officer's daily tasks include navigational watch duties, maintaining life-saving and firefighting appliances, conducting safety drills, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The role may also involve overseeing the loading and unloading of cargo, maintaining cargo records, and assisting in the ship's overall operational efficiency. Some work from home is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Experience in navigational watch duties and ship operations
• Knowledge of life-saving appliances and firefighting equipment maintenance
• Familiarity with safety regulations and conducting safety drills
• Ability to manage cargo loading, unloading, and record maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant maritime certifications and qualifications are required
• A bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies or related field is beneficial
