Thermal Simulation Engineer

As an innovative technology developer at Hitachi Energy, you will be responsible for independently solving industrial problems and contributing your ideas to propose and implement cutting-edge solutions. Your role will involve handling various engineering assignments within projects and actively participating in scientific discussions to showcase your technical expertise. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support on transformers business concerning thermal developments, including software, simulation, and experimental perspectives. - Propose and lead innovative ideas for future product developments in transformers cooling, utilizing Thermal Simulation using CFD and FEA. - Develop mathematical models and CFD simulation methodologies for precise thermal performance prediction. - Collaborate with engineers to enhance both new and existing products. - Formulate clear conclusions and practical recommendations for the business and share knowledge through detailed reports and specifications. - Contribute to product and technology development projects, ensuring timely delivery and building relationships with stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Hold a degree in Mechanical, Thermal, or fluid dynamics engineering (B. Tech, BE, ME, M.Tech, MS, or PhD). - Possess 4 to 10 years of experience in Thermal and fluid simulations, preferably with CFD 2D and 3D (Fluent). - Knowledge of object-oriented software (preferably VB.NET) and circuit simulation programs (preferably SPICE). - Deep understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. - Familiarity with CAD modeling software (CREO) is essential. - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to excel in teamwork within international teams. - Solid understanding of the relevant technical field and technical proficiency. - Willingness to work in remote and diverse environments. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is mandatory.
