Job Description

As a Therapy Business Manager, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement sales strategies in the assigned market. Your role will involve driving primary and secondary sales, ensuring brand presence in the market, and managing the distributor network to achieve sales and business objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales targets by promoting the company's product ethically to customers as per the business plan. - Engage in science-based discussions with doctors and chemists to promote the product in clinics and at chemist locations. - Organize Camps (CME) based on division strategy and customer needs. - Plan and conduct merchandising and sampling activities as per the Division's strategy. - Facilitate successful new product launches by identifying and targeting customers, conducting effective promotions, and providing feedback to the company. - Execute the customer management plan to ensure coverage of all customers and meet key performance indicators. - Conduct prescription audits for Abbott brands and competitors' brands. - Create and maintain a customer list as per therapy/product requirements. - Identify potential towns, appoint distributors, and customers in line with the business philosophy. - Ensure visibility of Abbott brands at retailers' outlets. - Attend Retail meets, Market Blitz, etc., for sales growth. - Generate Purchase Orders (POBs) for Abbott brands. - Recommend distributor appointments after evaluating commercial standing and creditworthiness. - Ensure timely submission of stock and sales statements by distributors. - Settle distributor claims within specified time limits. In addition to the above responsibilities, as the manager in your territory, you are authorized to build the company's reputation. You will lead and guide other team members by setting an example of excellence in various areas: - Adhere strictly to Abbott Code of Business Conduct. - Implement codes related to business conduct, FCPA, and Pharmacovigilance for compliance. - Comply with financial and administration systems, statutory regulations, and company laws. - Demonstrate professional behavior in line with Abbott Values. - Provide high levels of customer service and handle difficult customer situations. - Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines to minimize comments in audits. - Process transactions and orders accurately to satisfy customer needs. - Manage customer and resource bases attrition. - Execute division and business strategies shared with you. - Attend strategy meetings, training programs, and other company activities to improve performance. - Adhere to EHS policies, procedures, rules, and regulations for safety. You will be the authorized signatory for the company in your territory.
