Job Summary: The Textile Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of textile machinery and equipment at customer sites. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently or in coordination with customer maintenance teams. Key Responsibilities: Install and commission textile machines (e.g., spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing equipment) at customer sites. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on textile machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and provide effective solutions. Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers. Train customer personnel on machine operations, maintenance, and safety practices. Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and customer feedback. Collaborate with R&D and sales teams to relay technical information and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities. Travel to various customer sites as needed (regional/national/international). Experience or fresher can apply for this job Requirements: Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Strong knowledge of textile processes (e.g., weaving, dyeing, finishing). Familiarity with industrial automation systems (PLC, HMI, servo systems) is a plus. Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals. Proficiency in using tools, diagnostic instruments, and testing equipment. Good communication and customer relationship management skills. Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site in production environments.
