Job Summary: The Stores Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining store-related data into the inventory management system. This role ensures timely recording of materials inward and outward, supports inventory control, and helps maintain data integrity across the system. Key Responsibilities: Accurately enter materials received, issued, and returned in the inventory system. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly records of inventory transactions. Coordinate with the storekeeper and procurement team to verify stock details. Prepare reports on stock levels, shortages, and reorder status. Ensure all data is updated in real-time with minimum errors. Check and reconcile physical stock with system records periodically. Maintain hard copies and digital records of documents as required (e.g. delivery challans, GRNs, MRNs). Generate gate passes, issue slips, and other store-related documentation. Report any discrepancies in data to the Store Manager immediately.
