Along with development experience in large scale, high volume, multi-threaded and highly distributed systems , you ll bring an excellent understanding of implementing programming best practice, especially around scalability, availability and performance. You ll also need: Experience in backend development in ultra-low latency sensitive application Experience in Java, Multithreading, Concurrency packages and REST services Experience of test-driven development and using automated test frameworks, mocking and stubbing and unit testing tools U nderstanding of Java coding best practices, data structures, algorithms and design Patterns Experience of supporting, modifying and maintaining systems and code developed by teams other than your own
