Testing Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a Manager QA (Test Manager) with proven expertise in test strategy, planning, and automation frameworks to lead our Quality Assurance function. The ideal candidate should have strong domain knowledge in NBFC/financial services and hands-on experience in test automation (Selenium, Appium, Java, JavaScript), BDD frameworks, and performance testing. This role will involve leading a team of QA professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables across digital platforms, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategy, approach, and planning aligned with business and technology goals.
• Lead the QA team across manual, automation, and performance testing streams.
• Establish, maintain, and scale automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, Java, JavaScript, and BDD (Cucumber).
• Drive automation adoption across web, mobile (Android & iOS), and backend systems, ensuring continuous testing integration in CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee performance testing initiatives using JMeter (preferred) to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, Business, Development, and Infrastructure teams) to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
• Implement and monitor QA metrics, reporting test progress, quality risks, and outcomes to leadership.
• Mentor and develop QA team members, ensuring upskilling in latest tools and best practices.
• Leverage domain expertise in NBFC/financial services to design test scenarios aligned with business processes and compliance standards.
• Ensure adherence to data security, regulatory, and organizational guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of QA experience with at least 4-5 years in a Test Manager/QA Lead capacity.
• Strong expertise in Test Strategy, Test Planning, and Execution.
• Hands-on experience in Automation Testing: Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Java, JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber); ability to define and scale test frameworks.
• Experience in Performance Testing with JMeter (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Database Testing (DB validations, SQL queries).
• Domain expertise in NBFC/Banking/Financial Services is a must.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices testing.
• Knowledge of API testing (Postman/RestAssured).
• Certification in QA/Testing tools or Agile methodologies.
