Testing Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and quality standards.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts across various projects and product lines. Ensure thorough coverage of functional, non-functional, and regression testing.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and reliability of testing processes.
• Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards to identify defects, track issues, and verify software and product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead and mentor a team of testers, including test leads, engineers, and analysts, to ensure high performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Identify potential risks and dependencies associated with testing activities and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Foster strong collaboration and communication with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment of testing efforts with project requirements and priorities.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of testing activities. Monitor and analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in testing and quality assurance. Drive initiatives for process improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the testing organization

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience (8 to 12) in leading testing teams and managing testing projects in a corporate environment.
• Strong technical skills in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
