Role & responsibilities : Develop and manage comprehensive testing strategies for electric motors, including functional, performance, endurance, and safety tests. Lead and supervise the testing team, assigning tasks, providing technical guidance, and ensuring timely execution of testing activities. Design and implement test procedures, fixtures, and protocols for prototype and production motors. Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, NEMA, UL, etc.) and customer specifications. Analyze test results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings with engineering, production, and quality teams. To Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (CFT), ensuring seamless coordination for inspections, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and ensure a safe, organized, and efficient testing environment. Work closely with R&D and design engineering to support new product development and validation. Customer handling for witness test etc Manage documentation, including test plans, procedures, reports, and records for audits and quality control. Drive continuous improvement in testing processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. Represent department in internal/external audits. Role & responsibilities Perform in-process inspections and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications Conduct tests on electric motors, including performance, safety, and durability tests, to verify compliance with industry standards Work with production teams to resolve quality issues in real-time and ensure product specifications are met Investigate product defects or process failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components used in motor manufacturing Use data analysis tools such as Six Sigma, SPC (Statistical Process Control), or FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) to optimize quality control processes Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001 ) and environmental regulations Maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, quality audits, and corrective actions taken Prepare reports for senior management on quality performance, trends, and improvement activities Key Skills Required : Proven experience in quality control or quality engineering within the manufacturing sector.
