Test Specialist

You are a Performance/non-functional testing specialist at Amdocs, responsible for ensuring the best quality of Amdocs products by covering performance, stability, scalability, and high availability readiness. **Role Overview:** As a Performance/non-functional testing specialist at Amdocs, you will be required to gain broad knowledge of product architecture, technology, and business. Your responsibilities will involve test design, code profiling, tuning, sizing, execution, and analysis. You must have a proven track record of delivering under tight timelines and working collaboratively with a team of performance analysts and tuning experts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Possess at least 5+ years of experience as a performance engineer - Have hands-on experience with technologies such as Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, No SQL DB, Kafka, Couchbase, RESTful services, M2E modeled API services (SOAP), JSON, Kibana/Elastic Search, Grafana, GIT, SQL, Agile, SOAP/REST webservices, Microservices, and Jenkins - Fluent in Linux system/processes monitoring and programming (Perl/Ksh/Bash) - Good to have experience in Python - Experience with cloud-based infrastructures such as AWS/Azure/GCP, visualization, and VMWare platform - Proficient in nonfunctional testing methodologies and automated testing tools - Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis - Experience in monitoring and analyzing server performance counters and OS alert logs - Knowledge and experience with LoadRunner or JMeter tools - Familiarity with profilers like AppDynamics/Dynatrace/HPD - Systems/Applications tuning and code profiling - Knowledge of different network protocols/layers - Experience with Java/VB and WebLogic is desired - Familiarity with storage concepts and network topology **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Certifications in relevant technologies are a plus **Additional Details:** Amdocs is a market-leading software products and services company that empowers customers to provide next-generation communication and media experiences.
