Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Test Engineer with a minimum of 3+ years of experience, you will be responsible for producing the Test Strategy and Test Plan using appropriate risk-driven test planning techniques. Your role will involve verifying and validating requirements, preparing and maintaining traceability matrices, identifying functional points of the system, and preparing test scenarios and design documents. You will also be involved in the preparation and execution of test cases, covering GUI, functionality, system, integration, and regression testing, as well as defect testing and reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Create and review test scripts, utilizing automation tools such as JMeter for load testing of project modules. - Ensure that all test environments meet specified requirements and are fit for testing purposes. - Collaborate with platform SMEs to establish test types based on technical reviews and design documents. - Oversee defect management processes, regression testing activities, and fault reporting procedures during testing phases. - Create test completion reports and summarize the final post-testing position in the "Testing is Complete" report. - Monitor the progress and effectiveness of testing, identify potential problems, risks, and challenges, and alert the Delivery Manager/Test Manager timely. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in preparing test plans, scenarios, cases, and reports. - Expertise in automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and APM. - Demonstrate proficiency in performance/load testing using JMeter. - Extensive knowledge of database testing, UI testing, and API testing. - Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Trac and JIRA. - Solid understanding of automation testing and performance testing.
