Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be in the age group 30-45 years.
- Master s degree in Social Work/Social Studies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience of working in Nutrition/Health/ related programmes at block/district level.
- Experience in planning and executing district to village level operations with Government/ Donor/NGO supported programmes with minimum supervision.
- Must be having prior experience in coordinating with block/district administration, and civil society organizations.
- Ability to engage with different stakeholders at the block/district level to coordinate, manage, report and address issues of the project.
- Prior experience using online MIS Systems and their analytics in programme implementation.
- Must have a working knowledge of accounts and bookkeeping and MS Office.
- Must have good communication skills, especially in Hindi
Roles & Responsibilities
The Resource Person will be overall in charge of the cr che implementation across the block and support the Cluster Co-ordinator Creche Supervisors in his/her activities.
Supportive Supervision
- To provide supportive supervision of cluster co-ordinator and cr che supervisors and cr che workers.
- To undertake creche monitoring visits every month (atleast 18-20 days and 20-25 creches per month)
- To track open issues as identified by the Cluster Co-ordinators and Creche Supervisors.
Anthropometry and Calibration
- To facilitate the cluster co-ordinator and creche supervisor to collect household and anthropometric data before the opening of the creche
- To conduct dip stick quality checking of Anthropometric measurements as per the creche monitoring format.
- To be a part of the calibration of anthropometric measurements to be done on a quarterly basis
Capacity Building
- To support the capacity building of Creche Caregivers and have regular follow-up.
- Conduct training needs assessment at the time of creche visit and consults with Capacity building Manager from partner and also with Resource organisation
- Organize periodic refresher trainings on a need basis.
Coordination with key stakeholders
- To ensure regular coordination with block/district functionaries, PRI members and frontline workers
- To facilitate availability and access to THR and other services provided during VHND, immunization etc.
Grievance Handling and Issue Tracking
- To ensure that all cr che regulations are complied with, and discipline and decorum is maintained in all cr ches.
- To ensure that the safety and security protocols are being followed and take adequate steps to address any shortcomings.
- To report and investigate the cases under the provision of The POCSO Act, 2012 in coordination with the appropriate district-level officials.
- To escalate certain issues for support from the higher level.
Logistics Support
- To oversee the requisition of rations through random checking and verification.
- To ensure proper and timely availability of logistics and supplies.
Review meetings
- To attend the monthly review meetings of the cluster co-ordinator and creche supervisors
- To participate in the fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly meetings organized by the implementing partners.
Reporting and Documentation and Data representation
- Present the data in the partner s review meeting.
- Facilitate in rolling out and stabilisation of the Creche Management Software in the field.
- Prepare all reports and documents as per the requirement of the project.
