Job Description

**Role Overview:** As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for establishing relationships with new customers and securing contracts to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets. You will drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales by prospecting potential customers using various methods, qualifying prospects against company criteria, and consulting with prospects about their business challenges and requirements. It will be essential to maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to have meaningful conversations with prospects and work with technical staff and product specialists to address customer requirements. Additionally, you will develop and maintain territory plans, keep detailed notes on customer interactions, and maintain regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities:** - Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales - Prospect for potential customers using direct and indirect methods - Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales - Consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements - Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge - Work with technical staff and product specialists to address customer requirements - Develop and maintain territory plans to meet sales targets - Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions - Provide forecasts on sales volumes over relevant time periods - Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns - Provide feedback to sales management and company management on improving sales and customer value - Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop sales tools **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in an engineering or allied domain with experience in software sales - Experience in CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM or allied solution sales/technical experience is an added advantage - Good knowledge of the local market - Ability to develop new business opportunities - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to work independently - Ability to travel up to 70% (Note: The benefits section and additional company details were not provided in the job description),
