Territory Sales Manager

You will be responsible for establishing relationships with new customers and securing contracts to achieve assigned sales quotas and targets. Your role will involve driving the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales. As part of your duties, you will prospect for potential customers through various direct and indirect methods, qualify prospects against company criteria, and consult with them about their business challenges and requirements. It will be essential to maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects. Collaboration with technical staff and product specialists may be necessary to address customer requirements. You will be expected to develop and maintain territory plans outlining how sales targets will be met, keep detailed notes on customer interactions, and maintain regular contact to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, providing forecasts on sales volumes, working with marketing on lead generation campaigns, and offering feedback on sales strategies and market trends will be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with experience in software sales. Any experience in CAD/CAM/CAE/PLM or allied solution sales would be advantageous. A good knowledge of the local market, the ability to develop new business opportunities, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the capacity to work independently are essential.
