Territory Manager

Role Overview: You are in the process of hiring a Territory Manager for Jabalpur. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Aftermarket business in the designated region. Your role will involve daily coordination with distributors and retailers, market visits for demand generation activities, appointing and managing distributors, achieving sales targets, conducting monthly distributor scorecard reviews, mentoring and guiding your team, managing escalations related to receivables, understanding the company's vision and goals, ensuring effective communication within the team, and utilizing data to drive objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Fully own and manage the Aftermarket business in the assigned region. - Coordinate with distributors and retailers on a daily basis to ensure smooth transactions. - Conduct market visits as per assigned tasks related to demand generation activities. - Appoint and oversee both new and existing distributors. - Achieve sales targets in the region and plan for sales development in new areas. - Review the monthly Distributor Score Card. - Mentor and guide Field Sales Representatives (FSRs) according to company SOPs. - Manage escalations regarding receivables from distributors. - Align actions with the company's vision, mission, and goals. - Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team. - Analyze and utilize data effectively to drive objectives. Qualifications Required: - Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills. - Experience in team management. - Ability in solution selling. - Basic understanding of logistics at a distributor level. Education & Experience: - B.E/B.Tech or Any Graduate with an MBA. - 4-7 years of experience in frontline retail sales and distributor management out of a total of 7-10 years of experience. - Industry experience in manufacturing/engineering firms, auto components, oil, batteries, and OEMs. If interested, please share your updated profile with Neha Chawda at neha.chawda@skf.com.,
