Job Description

You are looking for a Territory Manager- Sales role at INERA. In this position, your responsibilities will include: - Managing an overall business of 2-3 districts / potential pockets based on local market requirement. - Driving demand generation with a focus on liquidation in the assigned area through field promotional activities such as Farmer Training Programs, Field days, and Field trips in key villages. - Planning, tracking, and managing a team of Market Development Officers (MDO) and their activities. - Actively managing relationships with Distributors and Retailers. - Focusing on accurate and timely planning, placement, liquidation, and collection of receivables. - Reporting sales and other commercial activities regularly to the Area Sales Manager. - Developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers in the territory and within the organization. **Accountabilities:** - Creating and executing the commercial plan for the responsible geography. - Ensuring the availability of the right product on the shelf at the right time and quantity. - Executing a growth plan for the responsible geography to increase market share. - Supporting strong channel engagement and campaign plan for effective business success. - Gathering market insights and assessing competition within the assigned territory. - Facilitating cross-selling of products and services from other Strategic Business Units. - Taking new innovative measures to drive growth. **Key Deliverables:** - Achieving sales revenue targets and collecting receivables within the approved credit period. - Managing channel and ensuring efficient liquidation in line with demand. - Accountable for collections and ensuring they are in line with policies. - Execution of DGA activities as per the annual plan. - Maintaining the leading position of the company by creating pull for product assortment at the channel level. **Why You Would Love This Role:** - Opportunity to work with strategic and research minds worldwide. - Collaboration with diverse teams for strong business outcomes. - Immense opportunities for growth. - Being part of a team focused on creating a strong impact and making the world a better place. **Qualifications:** - 2 to 5 years of professional experience, preferably in biological Agri-inputs. - Agri Graduate/Postgraduate, coupled with Agri or general MBA preferred. - Experience in Agro input sales, BD, Marketing. - Sales management and Customer Relation Management experience. - Strong financial acumen, customer service attitude, and strategic mindset. - Team working and People Management Skills. - Knowledge of local language/Products/Markets/potential geographies.,
