Job Description

As a Territory Manager-Sales at INERA, your role will involve: - Managing an overall business of 2-3 districts/potential pockets based on local market requirements. - Driving demand generation with a focus on liquidation in the assigned area through field promotional activities such as Farmer Training Programs, Field days, and Field trips in key villages. - Planning, tracking, and managing a team of Market Development Officers (MDO) and their activities. - Actively managing relationships with Distributors and Retailers. - Focusing on accurate and timely planning, placement, liquidation, and collection of receivables. - Regularly reporting sales and other commercial activities to your Area Sales Manager or immediate line manager. - Developing and maintaining relationships with key influencers in the territory and within the organization. Accountabilities include: - Creating and executing the commercial plan to deliver planned activities for the responsible geography. - Ensuring the right product availability on shelves at the right time and quantity. - Executing a plan for growth, market share increase, and lead growth. - Ensuring a motivated, engaged, and energized Field Staff. - Supporting channel engagement and campaign plan for effective business success. - Gathering market insights, assessing competition, and suggesting innovative measures for growth. - Facilitating cross-selling of products and services from other Strategic Business Units. - Other responsibilities as assigned by senior management. Key Deliverables: - Achieving sales revenue targets and collecting receivables within the approved credit period. - Undertaking channel management for stock availability, liquidation, and minimizing returns. - Accountable for collections and maintaining the company's leading position. - Execution of DGA activities as per the annual plan. - Work with colleagues for effective governance and ways of working. Qualifications desired: - 4 to 6 years of professional experience, preferably in biological Agri-inputs. - Agri Graduate/Postgraduate with Agri or general MBA preferred. - Experience in Agro input sales, BD, Marketing. - Sales management, Customer Relation Management experience. - Strong financial acumen, customer service attitude. - Strategic mindset for channel growth plan, team working, and people management skills. - Knowledge of local language/products/markets/potential geographies.,
