Job Description

Is responsible for managing, developing & supervising the team with a key focus on Service to sales through relationship management, sales productivity-per-executive, thereby achieving sales & service targets.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and implement direct sales strategies to achieve branch and individual targets.
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of insurance agents for direct sales activities.
Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory (IRDAI) guidelines and company policies.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster customer satisfaction and retention.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management; track KPIs for performance.
Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve service issues timely.
Manage budgeting and financial aspects for the branch, including expense control.
Ensure ongoing training to improve product knowledge and sales skills within the team.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate preferably with an MBA
Minimum 7-10 years experience in managing Agents, Sales Reps/DSAs
