Tendering Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Search and track tenders from State/Central Govt. departments, PSUs, and e-portals.
  
• Review tender notices, eligibility, and conditions to ensure company qualification.
  
• Prepare, compile, and verify tender documents and compliance requirements.
  
• Coordinate technical and financial bid preparation with internal teams.
  
• Submit tenders (online/physical) within deadlines and ensure accuracy.
  
• Act as the point of contact with tendering authorities for clarifications.
  
• Maintain database of tenders, track results, and analyze competitor bids.
  
• Report tender pipeline, outcomes, and provide management updates.
  
• Stay updated on procurement policies and e-tendering processes.
  
• Ensure continuous improvement in tendering practices to maximize win rate.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience

  : Proven experience in tendering, government contracting, or procurement.

• Domain Knowledge

  : Hands-on experience with State/Central Govt. tenders, PSUs, and e-procurement portals.

• Technical Skills

  : Strong MS Office/MS Excel and document management proficiency; ability to handle e-tendering systems independently.

• Communication

  : Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to liaise with authorities and internal teams.

• Analytical & Detail-Oriented

  : Strong eye for compliance, eligibility checks, and document accuracy.

• Work Style

  : Deadline-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.

• Other Preferences

  :
• Knowledge of BOQ preparation and basic costing.
  
• Familiarity with government procurement policies and contract laws.
