Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: Tendering & Estimation:

  • Study and analyze tender documents including BOQs, drawings, and specifications for ELV and Fire Fighting systems.

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, cost estimates, and compliance statements.

  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams to prepare system designs and technical submittals as part of the bid process.

  • Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information) for clarifications during the tender stage.

  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors for pre-bid meetings and clarifications.


Procurement:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for ELV and Fire Fighting systems and materials.

  • Obtain and analyze quotations for equipment, materials, and services.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors.

  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely project execution.

  • Maintain procurement logs, vendor databases, and price comparisons.

  • Ensure that all purchased materials comply with project specifications and regulatory standards.


Compliance & Coordination:

  • Ensure all technical submissions meet local civil defense, NFPA, or other relevant codes and standards.

  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and consultants during procurement and project execution phases.

  • Monitor and report on procurement and tender status, risks, and opportunities.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.

  • 3-7 years of experience in tendering and procurement, specifically for ELV and Fire Fighting systems in MEP or construction sectors.

  • Strong understanding of ELV systems (CCTV, fire alarm, access control, BMS, etc.) and fire protection systems.

  • Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, UAE Fire Code, etc.).

  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., CCS, Candy, or equivalent).

  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and documentation skills.

  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
