Designation: Tender Manager

Reporting To: COO (Chief Operating Officer).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire tender process, including proposal preparation and submission of Power Transformer.
  • Analyze tender documents and understand client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Review and evaluate tender documents and identify key requirements.
  • Develop strategies and plans to win tenders and secure contracts.
  • Coordinate with various departments to collect necessary data for tender submissions.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Track and manage all ongoing and completed tenders to ensure compliance and success.
  • Manage and oversee the entire tender process from start to finish.
  • Analyze requirements, prepare compliance checklists, and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Develop and manage tender schedules, ensuring timely submissions.
  • Review and analyze tender documentation and contract conditions.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prepare and present tender proposals to senior management.
  • Maintain records of all tender documentation and correspondence.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Monitor public and private sector tender portals and market intelligence to find relevant opportunities for new business.
  • Scrutinize complex tender documents and technical specifications to identify all requirements, potential risks, and commercial terms.
  • Address any ambiguities in the specifications by coordinating with the opportunity leader and the client before finalizing the offer.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to define a commercial and technical strategy for each offer that meets customer needs and company profitability goals.
  • Efficiently organize and manage the internal resources of the factory, including technical, legal, and finance teams, for the offer preparation.
  • Work with the engineering department to develop a comprehensive and competitive technical solution for the customer.
  • Work with the pricing teams to develop accurate and competitive cost and price calculations based on the proposed solution.
  • Oversee the creation of all bid content and documentation to ensure high-quality, professional, and compelling proposals.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Diploma / BE (Electrical Engineer) or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of tender management experience in Power Transformer manufacturing company.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and tendering procedures.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
