Job Description


Responsibility

Reporting to

HOD

Key Roles & Responsibilities (R&R):

1.

  • Review and analyse

    Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP)

    , and tender documents from clients and government authorities.
  • Search for Tenders across different Platform like GEM , Tender Filling etc & offer Tender .
  • Identify scope, technical requirements, commercial terms, and risk factors.
  • Prepare

    detailed and compliant tender submissions

    including technical, commercial, and financial components.
  • Participate in all relevant tenders before Trading.

2. Technical Understanding

  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand

    fabrication capabilities, capacity, and constraints

    .
  • Ensure proposals reflect

    realistic production timelines, resource availability, and quality standards

    .
  • Incorporate knowledge of

    metallurgy, welding procedures, material selection

    , and industry codes

3. Cost Estimation & Pricing

  • Conduct detailed

    cost analysis

    of raw materials, labour, consumables, transportation, and subcontracting.
  • Prepare

    BOQs and pricing sheets

    based on fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure accuracy in

    costing models

    and apply appropriate margins based on client and market understanding.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal departments:

    Production, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Finance

    to gather data and validate tender inputs.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical inputs.
  • Ensure

    alignment between technical proposal and execution capabilities

    .

5. Documentation & Submission

  • Prepare and compile

    comprehensive tender documents

    , ensuring compliance with all instructions and formats.
  • Manage the

    submission timeline

    and ensure timely delivery (online or physical) of all tender responses.
  • Maintain version control and documentation of submitted bids and supporting documents.

6. Client & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Engage with clients to clarify queries, attend pre-bid meetings, and provide technical/commercial justifications.
  • Track tender status and follow up on evaluation, negotiation, and award processes.

7. Market & Competitor Analysis

  • Analyse

    market trends, client behaviour, and competitor strategies

    to improve bid winning rate.
  • Maintain a database of

    benchmark rates, winning bids, and pricing history

    .

8. Post-Tender Handover

  • Handover awarded projects to execution teams with complete documentation and background.
  • Participate in

    kick-off meetings

    and support during project initiation phase.
  • Record Keeping of BG \ RMD \ SD along with it documentation and Maturity Dates
