Responsibility Reporting to HOD Key Roles & Responsibilities (R&R): 1. Tender & Bid Management Review and analyse Request for Quotation (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP) , and tender documents from clients and government authorities. Search for Tenders across different Platform like GEM , Tender Filling etc & offer Tender . Identify scope, technical requirements, commercial terms, and risk factors. Prepare detailed and compliant tender submissions including technical, commercial, and financial components. Participate in all relevant tenders before Trading. 2. Technical Understanding Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand fabrication capabilities, capacity, and constraints . Ensure proposals reflect realistic production timelines, resource availability, and quality standards . Incorporate knowledge of metallurgy, welding procedures, material selection , and industry codes 3. Cost Estimation & Pricing Conduct detailed cost analysis of raw materials, labour, consumables, transportation, and subcontracting. Prepare BOQs and pricing sheets based on fabrication drawings and specifications. Ensure accuracy in costing models and apply appropriate margins based on client and market understanding. 4. Cross-Functional Coordination Coordinate with internal departments: Production, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and Finance to gather data and validate tender inputs. Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for quotations and technical inputs. Ensure alignment between technical proposal and execution capabilities . 5. Documentation & Submission Prepare and compile comprehensive tender documents , ensuring compliance with all instructions and formats. Manage the submission timeline and ensure timely delivery (online or physical) of all tender responses. Maintain version control and documentation of submitted bids and supporting documents. 6. Client & Stakeholder Interaction Engage with clients to clarify queries, attend pre-bid meetings, and provide technical/commercial justifications. Track tender status and follow up on evaluation, negotiation, and award processes. 7. Market & Competitor Analysis Analyse market trends, client behaviour, and competitor strategies to improve bid winning rate. Maintain a database of benchmark rates, winning bids, and pricing history . 8. Post-Tender Handover Handover awarded projects to execution teams with complete documentation and background. Participate in kick-off meetings and support during project initiation phase. Record Keeping of BG \ RMD \ SD along with it documentation and Maturity Dates

Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance. Negotiate commercial and technical terms to achieve the best value for the company. 2. Vendor Development & Management Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international vendors . Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost, lead time, and compliance. Ensure vendors comply with company requirements, industry standards, and ethical practices. 3. Technical Understanding Possess sound knowledge of steel grades, standards , welding consumables, fabrication accessories, and tools . Coordinate with engineering and production teams to understand material specifications and procurement timelines . Review and interpret purchase requisitions, drawings, and BOMs for accurate sourcing. 4. Purchase Planning & Coordination Plan and manage procurement schedules in line with production planning and project timelines . Coordinate with store, production, and finance departments to ensure smooth material flow . Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to avoid stock-outs or overstocking. 5. Cost Control & Budgeting Ensure procurement costs are within approved budgets. Analyze market trends and steel price fluctuations to make informed buying decisions. Maintain and update price databases and cost sheets for key materials. 6. Process Compliance & Documentation Ensure all procurement activities are as per ISO standards and company SOPs . Manage purchase orders, GRNs, contracts, and records in ERP systems. Handle audit requirements and documentation for internal and external compliance. 7. Logistics & Delivery Monitoring Coordinate with logistics providers for timely and cost-effective transportation of materials. Resolve delivery-related issues such as delays, damages, or shortages promptly.

Ensure all fabrication activities are completed as per approved drawings and quality standards . Monitor daily production schedules, resource allocation, and output to achieve production KPIs . 2. Technical Supervision Provide expert guidance on fabrication techniques , welding methods, machining, assembly, and finishing operations. Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOMs , and technical documentation. Ensure adherence to metallurgical standards relevant to materials used in fabrication. 3. Team Leadership & Management Lead and manage production teams including engineers, supervisors, welders, and operators. Foster a culture of ownership, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Conduct training and skill development programs for shop floor teams. 4. Techno-Savvy Operations Leverage ERP/MRP systems , digital tools, and production dashboards to track output, identify bottlenecks, and ensure process transparency. Promote the use of technology-driven solutions to improve workflow, minimize waste, and enhance productivity. 5. New Factory Setup & Commissioning Lead and manage the complete setup of new fabrication units including layout planning, equipment selection, installation, recruitment, and SOP development. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure infrastructure readiness and timely commissioning. Establish production lines as per best industry practices for maximum efficiency and scalability. 6. Metallurgy & Quality Focus Apply metallurgical knowledge in material selection, process optimization, and defect analysis. Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with customer specifications, and internal standards. Ensure traceability and documentation for all materials and welding procedures. 7. Target-Driven Operations Set and monitor aggressive production targets in line with project schedules and client requirements. Identify potential delays or resource constraints and take proactive corrective actions . Drive a results-oriented culture focused on output, quality, and timely delivery . 8. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations & As per ISO certification standard . Implement and monitor safety practices on the shop floor. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to mitigate hazards
