Job Title: Senior Sub Editor – Telugu (Digital Team) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 4–8 years Company: TV9 Digital | Part of TV9 Network – India’s #1 News Network About the Role:TV9 Digital is expanding its Telugu content team in Hyderabad and is looking for a Senior Sub Editor with strong command over the Telugu language and a solid understanding of digital content creation. If you have a passion for news, can think editorially, and are hands-on with digital tools — this is for you. Key Responsibilities Research and write high-quality content in Telugu across domains like breaking news, politics, crime, and current affairs Edit, review, and proofread content for language accuracy, clarity, and tone Optimize content for search engines (SEO) using best practices like keywords and metadata Promote stories across relevant social media platforms Align content with brand tone and network synergy Use analytics tools to measure performance (traffic, engagement, conversions) Create and manage a content calendar for timely publishing Contribute to YouTube shows or video content in Telugu Who Should Apply 4–8 years of experience in content writing or editorial roles, especially in a digital news/media environment Strong proficiency in Telugu (written and spoken) with working knowledge of English Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines Familiarity with CMS, SEO tools, YouTube scripting, and digital publishing workflows Education Open to all graduates.
