Right now, we’re looking for a Freight Broker to join our dynamic team in Mohali. If you're passionate about logistics, ready to take on challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!
-Position: Freight Broker
- Location: Mohali- Experience: Minimum 6 months in an international outbound process- Shift: U.S. Night Shift (India Time)-Salary: Competitive base salary + performance-based bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the vital link between shippers and carriers to coordinate freight transportation across the U.S.-Negotiate freight rates and secure optimal pricing for both service and cost-efficiency.- Build strong relationships with trucking companies, owner-operators, and customers to ensure smooth operations.- Track shipments, manage delays, and provide real-time updates on progress.- Ensure proper documentation, load posting, and load tendering in the TMS and load boards.- Collaborate with internal teams—dispatchers, accounting, and management—for seamless operations.- Meet daily/weekly targets and help drive profitability by onboarding new carriers and managing load bookings effectively.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication skills (English proficiency required)- Excellent negotiation & problem-solving abilities- Solid time management and multitasking capabilities- Knowledge of U.S. geography, freight types, and transportation terminology (preferred)- Proficient in MS Office and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
