Tele-Optometrist (Remote – Night Shift, India)

About the Role:

Tele-Optometrist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive refractions using digital or manual foropters.
• Connect remotely to U.S. clinics via secure telehealth systems.
• Guide patients through vision tests and record results accurately in EMR platforms.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and clinic staff.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Maintain patient privacy, data accuracy, and excellent bedside manner at all times.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) or equivalent degree recognized in India.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on clinical optometry or refraction experience.
• Experience using digital or automated foropters preferred.
• Strong English fluency — both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work night shifts aligned with U.S. time zones.
• Willingness to complete HIPAA and telehealth compliance training.
