Overview

We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Engineer to spearhead sales opportunities for our Test & Embedded products while fostering strong client relationships across diverse regions. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with business development skills to identify, qualify, and secure new accounts while maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role demands strong communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the willingness to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new clients, and building lasting rapport.

  • Provide technical information and explanations to prospects, preparing accurate and competitive quotations.

  • Respond promptly to telephone, fax, and e-mail enquiries, verifying details, and entering information.

  • Coordinate order fulfillment, communicate expected delivery dates, and explain stock-outs when necessary.

  • Review customers//' buying history to recommend related or new products and explain relevant technical features.

  • Maintain communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking technical issues.

  • Promote the company//'s offerings at various industry events.

  • Prepare and execute a comprehensive sales travel plan to achieve monthly targets.

  • Manage and grow key accounts to maximize revenue potential.

  • Recommend process and policy improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Number of new key accounts acquired.

  • Number of qualified enquiries generated.

  • Total value of orders received.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience:

  • Proven track record in business development and sales of technical products.

  • Key Account Management experience.

  • Experience with government purchasing processes.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of Instrumentation, Electronics, and Electrical Engineering.

  • Ability to explain technical features to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Attributes & Soft Skills:

  • Positive /"can-do/" attitude with strong personal ownership for results.

  • Innovative and entrepreneurial approach to challenges.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building.

  • Willingness to travel frequently.

  • Ambition to grow into Sales Manager and eventually VP Sales.

Qualifications

  • BE/B.Tech in Electronics or Instrumentation.

  • Experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
