Technology Risk Manager

Role Overview: You are being sought after to join the Risk and Control (R&C) team as a Technology Risk Manager (also known as embedded risk team lead) at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India. As part of the Corporate Bank group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring robust and sustainable control governance across CIO - CB. Your responsibilities will include managing audit/regulatory/self-identified findings, participating in regulatory and audit exams, monitoring stakeholders" compliance with key risk indicators, and ensuring effective and sustainable control implementations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to identify, assess, and remediate risks, as well as contribute to all stages of software delivery within a cross-functional agile delivery team. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with and support CIO-1 areas in risk management and control implementation, ensuring overall risk posture improvement - Manage audit/regulatory/self-identified findings for CIO-1 portfolio(s) to resolve risks/gaps in controls and non-compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and laws - Coordinate with technology stakeholders on internal and external audit and regulatory exams, ensuring senior management awareness of technology issues - Assist application teams in implementing controls, testing their effectiveness, and initiating risk remediation programs - Develop strategies for risk reduction, prepare critical applications for audits, and address common risk issues - Track and report on key risk indicators (KRI) and control uplift programs, ensuring compliance and closing control gaps - Advise on control design effectiveness, evidence, and tooling input, resolving potential issues in control design Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Extensive experience in technology risk management and advisory - Strong analytical skills to identify underlying technology issues - Experience in assessing risk, writing issues, and developing corrective actions - Ability to provide viable solutions and problem-solving - Experience working with auditors, regulators, and external auditors - Preferably experienced in designing and testing technology controls and processes - Technical background in application development, infrastructure engineering, etc. is preferred,
