You will be working as an AR (Accounts Receivable) Accounting and Reporting Specialist in Chennai, India. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the accounts receivable process efficiently and accurately for the markets-entities in Benelux, Poland, Germany, and Hungary. This includes ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices and implementing effective controls to mitigate risks. You should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and maintaining accounts receivable aging reports - Reviewing and reconciling customer accounts - Generating and sending invoices to customers promptly - Following up on overdue invoices and initiating collection efforts - Coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes - Developing and implementing robust controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud - Reviewing existing AR processes and identifying areas for improvement - Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements - Preparing periodic reports on accounts receivable performance, aging analysis, and collection trends - Analyzing AR data to identify patterns, trends, and areas of concern - Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers - Communicating effectively with sales, customer service, and other relevant departments - Collaborating with sales teams to review customer credit terms and make recommendations for adjustments To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree or a certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
