Job Title: Techno Commercial Manager - Government Tenders (IT Business)
Reports to: Business Development/Operations Head
Location: Chennai
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Techno Commercial Manager to lead our government tendering efforts in the IT business. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing government tenders, technical solutioning, and commercial negotiations. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Government Tender Management:
- Identify and pursue government tender opportunities at the national level.
- Develop and implement tender strategies to ensure win rates.
2. Technical Solutioning:
- Lead technical teams to develop solutions for government tenders.
- Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and are technically feasible.
3. Commercial Negotiations:
- Lead commercial negotiations with government agencies and stakeholders.
- Ensure contracts are negotiated favorably for the company.
4. Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, stakeholders, and partners.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration.
5. Bid Management:
- Manage bid preparation, submission, and follow-up.
- Ensure bids are submitted on time and meet customer requirements.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 5 years and maximum 25 years of experience in managing government tenders, preferably in the IT business.
- Experience working with government agencies, PSUs, and large corporations.
3. Skills:
- Strong understanding of government tendering processes and regulations.
- Excellent technical solutioning and commercial negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
4. Domain Knowledge:
- Familiarity with IT products/services and government initiatives.
- Knowledge of government policies and regulations.
