Technical/Medical Writer

As a skilled Medical/Technical Writer at GlobalLogic, your role will involve creating and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation for the PACS product suite. This unique position requires a combination of strong technical writing skills and knowledge of medical imaging, radiology workflows, and healthcare technology. The duration of this role is for a contractual period of 6 months. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and maintain user guides, technical documents, release notes, FAQs, and training materials for PACS products. - Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) such as product managers, engineers, and clinicians to gather accurate product insights. - Manage the end-to-end documentation lifecycle, including planning, writing, publishing, and updating. - Ensure that all documentation complies with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, DICOM, HL7, and IHE. - Simplify complex clinical workflows into clear content with the use of visuals like flowcharts and diagrams. - Test the usability of documentation with QA/support teams and incorporate user feedback. - Organize content for easy navigation and searchability in the knowledge base. - Support cross-functional teams by creating/editing training, marketing, and presentation materials. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a related field (medical informatics a plus). - Experience: 3-5 years as a Technical Writer, with at least 2 years in healthcare tech or medical devices. - Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with radiology systems and standards like PACS, RIS, DICOM, HL7, and IHE. - Writing Skills: Strong writing, editing, and documentation skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy. - Technical Skills: Ability to understand complex software and translate it into user-friendly content. - Tools: Experience with tools like MadCap Flare, Paligo, FrameMaker, Snagit, Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence, and Jira. - Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment.
