Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer at Hotelogix India Private Limited, you will be responsible for creating a variety of technical documents such as user manuals, release notes, training manuals, installation guides, and presentations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparation of user manuals, release notes, training manuals, installation guides, and presentations. - Releasing installation guides. - End-to-end creation, development, coordination, execution, publishing, and ongoing updating of a range of Hotelogix technical documents. - Maintaining extensive product knowledge through discussions with product teams and participation in demos and training videos. - Sharing technical documentation needs with the Product - Documentation Specialist to document and track all deliverables and writing needs of product teams. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications: - Technical Writing Skills - Knowledge of Software Requirement Specifications (SRS)/BRDs - Written fluency in English with the ability to tailor writing to internal and client-facing audiences - Highly organized with attention to detail and consistency - Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio - Proficiency in Snagit or other image capturing/editing tools - Ability to create videos - API Knowledge - Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate - Technical background is preferred About the Company: Hotelogix India Private Limited, incorporated in March 2008, provides a cloud-based Property Management System to small & midsize hotels including B&Bs, City Hotels, Serviced Apartments, Guest Houses, and Multiple Properties.
