Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities:

Independently develop and maintain documentation required for
DGCA Type Certification
(CAR UAS, IS160).
Prepare detailed
Bill of Materials (BOM)
,
User Manuals
,
Maintenance Manuals
,
Integration Guides
, and
Checklists
.
Draft compliance documentation such as
Evaluation Matrices
,
Flight Test Reports
, and
Safety Assessments
.
Coordinate with design, testing, quality, and regulatory teams to gather accurate inputs and ensure documentation completeness.
Ensure all documents comply with applicable standards (e.g., CAR, ASTM, MIL-STD, AS9100).
Manage document version control, traceability, and submission schedules for DGCA and other stakeholders.
Support audits, technical evaluations, and regulatory inspections through accurate and timely documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
Minimum
3 years of experience
in technical writing for aerospace, defense, or unmanned systems.
Prior hands-on experience in
DGCA documentation for UAS Type Certification
is mandatory.
Strong command over MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and technical drawing annotation tools.
Ability to understand engineering drawings, testing protocols, BOM structures, and system-level integration.
Excellent writing, formatting, and technical communication skills in English.
