Technical Writer

As a Technical Writer with the global technology firm focused on innovative inflight entertainment and connectivity solutions, you will be an integral member of a small software technical writing team. You will collaborate with multiple teams on various software projects in an Agile environment, contributing to both legacy and new projects that enhance a passenger's flight experience. - Deliver content that caters to the needs of our technical audience at their level of expertise. - Research, write, and edit technical documentation including Developer Guides, Help Systems, and User Guides for multiple developer software products, applications, and tools. - Actively participate in multiple cross-functional teams within an Agile environment. - Utilize a hands-on approach to understand the technology and products being documented. - Create clear, concise documentation following established standards for format, conciseness, style, and terminology. - Adhere to standard procedures for reviewing and releasing technical documentation. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in a writing or technical field. - 3 to 6 years of technical writing experience. - Proficiency in researching, writing, and editing technical documentation for software products, applications, and tools. - Ability to produce high-quality technical content for a technical audience. - Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, screen capture tools, and help system authoring applications. - Knowledge of HTML and documenting APIs is a plus. - Experience as an outstanding team player, working in an Agile scrum team environment. - Capability to manage schedules, reviews, and approval processes across multiple teams and time zones. - Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
