Position: Technical Support Engineer

Experience: 15 years (IoT/Industrial Automation preferred)

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for IoT-based machine health monitoring systems and predictive maintenance solutions.

Perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of sensors, gateways, edge devices, and cloud dashboards.

Monitor machine data, alerts, and device performance in real-time, ensuring proper connectivity and uptime.

Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues related to IoT devices and analytics platforms.

Coordinate with R&D and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement system improvements.

Provide remote and onsite technical assistance to customers and field teams.

Prepare technical documentation, installation reports, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides.

Conduct training sessions for customers on system usage and dashboard insights.

Ensure SLA adherence, timely resolution of customer tickets, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related fields.

Strong knowledge of IoT devices, sensors, gateways, industrial protocols (Modbus, MQTT, OPC-UA, etc.).

Basic understanding of machine health parameters (vibration, temperature, current, sound, etc.).

Experience with AI/analytics dashboards, cloud platforms, or machine monitoring systems is an advantage.

Good troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in predictive maintenance, industrial automation, or condition monitoring.

Hands-on with IoT device provisioning, firmware upgrades, and network configurations.

Familiarity with Linux, SQL, and cloud technologies (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
