Job Summary:

The purpose of the Technology Specialist is to be the first responder to Incident technology support tickets and phone calls. The Technology Specialist gathers and analyzes information about an Associate technical issue and determines the best method to resolve the problem

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Answer incoming phone calls to the Support Center phone line. This requires active engagement and partnership with the caller to resolve the issue or take the appropriate next steps to resolve the issue.

Respond, resolve, or escalate technical support requests submitted to the Support Center help desk ticket system.

Provide hardware technical support repair for Dell laptops, Dell Desktops, and Copier devices

Experience Details

Technical Support or equivalent support environment

Previous experience working in the IT Field

CRITICAL SKILLS

Ability to work a range of different work schedules

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac, and iOS Operating Systems

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Administration

Proficient knowledge of Dell laptop and desktop repair

Working knowledge of copier printer and scanner devices

Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-user skill levels

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Working knowledge of computer networking (TCP/IP)
