Problem-Solving Must be able to identify and fix IT problems in isolated environments with limited resources.
Communication Skills Clear verbal and written communication are mandatory. Documentation & Reporting Responsible for keeping and creating documents such as vessel IT documents, incident logs, and compliance reports. Team Collaboration Must work well with the local team and other team members.

Techincal Skills

Knowledge in Networking (DHCP/DNS/VLAN/Routing) and Hardware Support.
Support for client side IT equipments like Antivirus, Desktops, an d Printers. Installation, Configuration, and Support for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Familiarity with Windows Server 2016. Experience with Synology. Understanding of SCALE. Skills in Active Directory Administration. Experience with email solutions (Dualog and other email platforms). Office working hours will be from IST 02:00 PM to 10:00 PM (UK shift).
Travel to ships will be required occasionally to perform IT support functions related to the vessel. After the training period, the candidate will shift between UK and India standard working shifts for handling after-hours support calls.
