Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the technical operations of the fleet.
• Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of vessels to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with vessel management and crew to resolve technical issues promptly.
• Coordinate dry docking and repair work while managing budgets and timelines.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to ship crews.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in the maritime industry.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
• 10-20 years of experience in technical management within the maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in maintenance management systems and software.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with shipboard machinery and systems, including engines, electrical systems, and safety equipment.
