About your role

• The position is major for a .Net developer supporting Taiwan business in Fidelity International. The role involves doing development involving core skills of .Net, ASP.Net, Oracle, SQL Server etc.
• Knowledge of working in Agile Team with DevSecOps principles would be an additional advantage.
• This would also involve intensive interaction with the business and other Technology groups, and hence strong communications skills and the ability to work under pressure are absolute must.
• The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high level ownership within a demanding working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain applications using the .NET framework and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers and other developers to design software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and implement improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into projects as appropriate
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
• Participate in application delivery and enhancement for new requirements
• Deliver high quality development work as per business needs

About you

Experience and Qualifications

• BE/ B - Tech

Essential Skills

• 6+ years software development experience
• Proven experience as a .NET Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and MVC frameworks
• Strong understanding of relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Understanding of the agile development methodology
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently while being in a team environment
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products
• Ability to think from a customer viewpoint and to understand the complexities of the business
• Business level of English communication, including written and verbal

Desired Skills

• Experience with AWS infrastructure and services and infrastructure as code tools with Terraform
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• A strong desire for proficiency in Chinese reading and basic speaking skills
• The successful candidate must be highly motivated, fast learner, flexible, willing to assume responsibility, and deliver quality work on time.
