Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the daily administration, configuration, and support of the Salesforce platform. This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, customize the platform, and create solutions that improve user efficiency and business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and communication skills and a passion for data accuracy and user adoption.

Responsibilities:User and Security Management:

Manage all aspects of user administration, including creating and deactivating user accounts, roles, profiles, and permission sets. Maintain robust security by controlling access to data through sharing rules, field-level security, and organization-wide defaults.

Configuration and Customization:

Implement Salesforce configuration changes, including creating custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts. Automate business processes using declarative tools like Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules. Install, configure, and manage third-party applications from the AppExchange.

Data Management:

Ensure data integrity and quality through regular data cleansing, de-duplication, and validation rules. Manage data imports and exports using tools like Data Loader. Maintain data backup and recovery processes.

Reporting and Analytics:

Create and maintain standard and custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for business leaders and end-users. Provide analysis to help make data-driven decisions.

Support and Training:

Act as the primary point of contact for user-reported issues and troubleshoot problems promptly. Provide ongoing user training and support, including developing training materials and conducting workshops.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:

Stay informed about Salesforce releases and new features, and test and implement relevant updates in a sandbox environment. Monitor system performance and perform regular health checks.

Requirements and SkillsRequired Qualifications:


  • Certified as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Hold an active Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.
  • Experience with declarative automation tools, including Flows, Process Builder, and Approval Processes.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security models, including roles, profiles, and sharing settings.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with specific Salesforce clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and basic knowledge of Apex or Visualforce.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong change management and training abilities.
