Position: Technical Sales Executive – Interior Design Experience: 1–3 years Location: Open Industry: Interior Design / Architecture / Furniture / Building Materials

Role Overview

The Technical Sales Executive will strategically combine interior design knowledge with strong sales capability to guide clients through product selections, design options, and project decisions. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, client engagement, and business development skills to drive revenue and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with clients to understand project requirements and present suitable design and product options.

Provide expert consultation by leveraging knowledge of materials, brands, finishes, and design trends.

Prepare BoQs (Bill of Quantities), product estimates, and share technical details with clients and internal teams.

Coordinate with design, civil, and project execution teams to ensure accurate communication of specifications.

Identify new business opportunities through networking, market research, and relationship-building.

Manage showroom walk-ins (where applicable) and convert enquiries into successful sales.

Maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and client satisfaction.

Stay updated on industry trends, new launches, and competitor offerings.

Key Skills Required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and influence client decisions.

In-depth product knowledge of interior materials, finishes, brands, and applications.

Understanding of current interior design trends and market developments.

Ability to read drawings, interpret technical details, and explain specifications clearly.

Consultative selling approach with a focus on meeting client needs rather than pushing products.

Basic knowledge of BoQ preparation and project coordination.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

1–3 years of experience in interior sales, technical sales, building materials sales, or showroom consulting.

Proven experience in client-facing or business development roles in the interiors or construction sector.

Pay: ₹20,127.19 - ₹25,615.70 per month
