Technical Quote Lead

About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Quote Lead to drive new business pursuits and quotations for our Cockpit/Infotainment product line. This role is pivotal in coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective technical proposals that align with customer expectations and business goals. Key Responsibilities Lead technical responses to RFIs and quotations for Cockpit/Infotainment systems. Form and guide engineering teams to support quoting activities. Review and document hardware/software requirements, assumptions, and compliance. Coordinate technical deliverables and ensure alignment with quote timelines. Optimize designs and BOM costs; identify value engineering and reuse opportunities. Prepare comprehensive quote documentation (TDRs, BOMs, cost assumptions). Collaborate with product management and commercial teams to define cost targets. Initiate early actions on long-lead items and supplier quotes. Align make/buy strategies with manufacturing and purchasing. Ensure efficient assembly processes and accurate manufacturing cost estimates. Develop delivery plans and support pursuit-specific demo properties. Maintain process compliance and support customer milestones and tech shows. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7 years of experience in Cockpit Electronics Products. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills. Proven ability to manage complex quoting processes in a fast-paced environment.
