Technical Publications Officer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the technical publications of the company.
• Preparing, formatting, and handling various technical manuals of engineering department.
• Manage a system of subscription, receipt, updation, evaluation and circulation of various maintenance data such as but not limited to AMM, EMM, AD, SB, SRM, CMM etc.
• Prepare a master list of manuals to be maintained and update the list in AMOS.
• Log in to all OEM websites for verification of status of all related manuals and record keeping.
• Monitoring of revisions of master list of manuals and update the revision status in AMOS.
• Uploading of all Boeing Engineering & Operation Manuals, Akasa Air Company (CAMO & Engg) manuals into Document Control Centre.
• Printing, punching and filing of all hard copy manuals before dispatching to various stations.
• Printing and circulation of MEL, AMP, CAME, Cat II&III Procedures, EPM, MOE, PBN, RNP, RVSM manuals as per requirement.
• Monitoring of DGCA website and updating Regulatory documents such as Aircraft Rules, CAR-M, CAR-145 and CAR Section-2 and circulate to all concerned.
• Maintaining Master publication register for regulatory data and all aircraft (inclusive of Engine, APU, Components etc.) maintenance data.
• Maintain records for Dispatch and receipt of acknowledgement of Quality & Technical notice and updation of status including upload of such notices in DMS.
• Dispatch of Technical & Quality Notice to contractors appointed by Akasa Air for maintenance.
• Provide any publications on demand to any dept. who is in need of such manuals in the required formats.
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Technical Services Manager & CAM.
