Technical Project Manager

Required Skills & Experience

  • 810 years of total IT experience with a

    Strong hands-on development background

    in web technologies such as Angular, Node.js, React.
  • Ability to write, review, and debug code independently when required.
  • Minimum

    4+ years of experience

    leading teams and managing client-facing projects in a service-based environment.
  • Strong understanding of

    SDLC, Agile/Scrum, DevOps workflows, architecture basics, and delivery frameworks

Key Responsibilities

A.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of software projects with strong technical involvement, including coding, code reviews, debugging, and architectural guidance when needed.
  • Manage and execute projects across various models.
  • Define scope, translate requirements into actionable sprints, and maintain strict control over timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Ensure high-quality engineering output by enforcing coding standards, architecture best practices, scalability, security, and performance considerations.
  • Establish and maintain operational excellence through structured processes, documentation, checklists, sprint ceremonies, and governance frameworks.
  • Track key delivery metrics such as velocity, defects, quality, utilization, and profitability across projects and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and gaps; implement corrective actions before they escalate.
  • Coordinate effectively with Developers, QA, DevOps, BA, and Design teams to maintain alignment and delivery execution.
  • Drive productivity through the use of AI tools, automation, optimized workflows, and modern development accelerators.
  • Take complete ownership of personal and team availability during critical delivery phases, including off-hours or weekends when necessary (exception-based).

B. Internal Stakeholders & Client Management

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and skill-gap assessments.
  • Mentor team members on productivity, prioritization, decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and proactive communication.
  • Act as the primary technical communication bridge between clients, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Lead requirement discussions, solutioning workshops, sprint planning meetings, and demo sessions with clarity and confidence.
  • Set and manage expectations with clients through structured updates, risk communication, and transparent reporting.
  • Translate business demands into clear technical plans and ensure the team understands priorities and scope boundaries.
  • Handle scope changes, timeline negotiations, and delivery commitments without compromising quality or client trust.
  • Address conflicts, escalations, and issues with diplomacy and ownership.
  • Build strong client relationships by demonstrating ownership, responsiveness, and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to support pre-sales, contribute to solutioning, and confidently represent in client technical interviews.

Good to Have (Optional but Strong Plus)

  • Experience with

    OneStream

    (business rules, workflows, financial domain basics).
  • Hands-on with mobile technologies such as Flutter, Android, iOS, will[NM1] [KP2] [NM3] [KP4] be considered a plus.[AT5]
  • Knowledge of

    Zoho Projects/CRM/Flow/Creator

    for automation and PM workflows.
  • Familiarity with

    AWS/Azure/GCP cloud environments

    .
  • Experience with AI-led transformation, automation, or process digitization.
