As a Technical Project Manager at Calfus, your role will involve being responsible for the successful delivery of complex technical projects. You will need to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer requirements. This position requires strong leadership, project management, and technical skills. Your primary tasks will include managing project teams, defining project scope, creating timelines, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress to meet delivery milestones. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between the technical teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: - Extensive experience managing product and software engineering projects - Ability to connect, empathize with, and discover customer needs, translating them into requirements and engaging for clarity. Ability to conduct negotiations with customers on priorities and deliver emergent products. - Establishing a strong engineering team grounded in respect, empathy, and exceptional engineering practices - Leading end-to-end development and deployment of GenAI/LLM-based solutions, from use case discovery to production rollout, across business functions - Partnering with principal engineers across locations to deliver best-in-class products and solutions to customers - Delighting customers through high-quality solutions delivered through strong software engineering principles - Seeking diverse solutions and questioning the status quo while respecting opinions - Ability to stitch complete workflows that enable customers to accelerate their business through the demonstration of understanding business needs - Strong programming background in Node JS/Java/Python, React.js/Angular - Experience in cloud architecture and technology - In-depth experience with application/front-end stack, middle-layer, backend stack. Working with data from ingestion to dashboards is a huge plus - Anchoring engineering teams as the go-to person to understand issues on the ground to help engineers become unstuck - Strong foundation and agility in ways of working Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of relevant experience in project management, with at least 5+ years in a technical or IT-focused environment - Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget - Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and tools - Experience working with technical teams, understanding of system architectures, software engineering, and infrastructure - Familiarity with development platforms and technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), databases, and APIs - Ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project goals - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Ability to make decisions based on data and insights and drive issues to resolution - Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello) - Familiarity with development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker) Additional Details: At Calfus, we value our employees and offer a strong benefits package, including medical, group, and parental insurance, coupled with gratuity and provident fund options.
