Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting our platform in production, to resolve our customers technical issues. You will support the customer by acting as the liaison between the customer and other internal teams. Your ability to work in complex networking environment where most applications are built on Java, will also make you an ideal candidate.

Candidate must be willing to work in shifts.


Responsibilities

Monitor, Debug technical platform services and run tests
Manage and address electronic tickets efficiently
Liaise between sales team, customer success team, and customers to properly address customer problems
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Troubleshoot and configure software and hardware
Assume shift responsibilities in a 24*7 monitoring environment
Reduce toil by automating repeated jobs/tasks using scripting (shell/python/rundeck)
Ability to create alerts using APM and Centralized logging and Metrics tools with help of L2 and L3 teams
Meet SLAs like response and resolution times by partnering within L2 and L3 Support organizations
Coordinate with DevOps teams for deployments and related issues
Coordinate with Dev teams on KT of new features and write required SOPs and update them time to time.
The position is based in Hyderabad and requires working from the office.

Skills

2+ years of technical support experience
Customer service oriented with strong written and verbal and troubleshooting skills
Basic knowledge of Linux commands and shell scripting
Basic understanding of applications on Docker and Kubernetes clusters
Automation experience using any of Linux/Ansible/Puppet/Chef
Good to have experience with cloud applications (AWS)
Ability to query database using SQL
Using JIRA tools for tracking tickets and familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software Zendesk is an added advantage
Good to have exposure to APMs like AppDynamics / Dynatrace / Newrelic / Datadog / others
Good to have experience in debugging with centralized logging tools like Splunk/ELK etc
Good to have experience in Metrics monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
Good to have experience with any programming language like Java, Golang etc

The position is based in Hyderabad and requires working from the office. Those seeking work-from-home(WFH) roles need not apply.
