As a Senior Database Administrator at Claranet, you will play a crucial role in supporting MYSQL, MSSQL, AWS RDS, and Aurora Database platforms. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, monitoring, optimizing system performance, database migration, ensuring security, and generating reports. You will be on-call for fourth-line support 24/7 and will automate support activities like backups, patching, and script deployments. Your expertise will also involve guiding customers towards Cloud technologies, PaaS data platforms, and other cloud-native Data Services while ensuring the storage, processing, and quality of customer data. Claranet's primary strategy is to establish enduring, trusted relationships with customers by providing market-leading integrated managed services. We are currently seeking a leader to develop and manage the multi-solutions portfolio that Claranet offers, facilitating cross and up-selling opportunities. As part of the Data and AI practice, you will work alongside experts dedicated to Data-centric offers, supporting customers in their IT and Data transformations. This team collaborates on choosing the right tools and services, building secure and scalable environments, and managing their maintenance. Your role will involve delivering large-scale data migration and modernization projects, managing key strategic customer environments, mentoring other engineers, engaging with key customer stakeholders, conducting workshops, and producing technical content for external use. You will also collaborate with various teams within Claranet, including Customer Experience and Managed Services, Customer Success and Growth, Finance and Corporate Development, and HR and People, to ensure the best service delivery, portfolio development, alignment of targets, and recruitment strategies.
