Technical Lead - VertexAI

As a Technical Lead specializing in GEN AI at a Global IT Service Provider company based in Chennai/Bangalore, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining GenAI applications and agentic workflows. Your responsibilities include: - Building and optimizing RAG pipelines using centralized vector databases and embedding stores. - Developing and deploying GenAI models and BYOA solutions as Docker images on Kubernetes-based infrastructure. - Implementing prompt engineering, orchestration, and evaluation workflows using workbench plugins and browser extensions. - Supporting and extending user interfaces for interacting with GenAI agents and tools. - Ensuring robust security, compliance, and governance within the AI/ML environment. - Collaborating with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable GenAI solutions. - Participating in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement of the GenAI platform. Your required technical skills include proficiency in Python, experience with LLM/GenAI model development, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), LLM APIs, vector databases, web UI development, security, governance, compliance, CI/CD tools, troubleshooting, debugging, and communication. Preferred qualifications for this role include experience with agentic frameworks, familiarity with large-scale financial/ML platforms, exposure to GenAI evaluation frameworks, Slack bot development, browser extension integration, desktop app development, and knowledge of data privacy, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.,
