Technical Lead - Outsystems

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with 10 years of overall experience, including 5 years in OutSystems / Low-Code Development, to lead and mentor our development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing low-code solutions, along with proven experience in team leadership and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large teams of low-code developers (10+ members), ensuring productivity and adherence to best practices.
  
• Design and build prototypes to effectively demonstrate ideas and solutions.
  
• Provide guidance and support to the team in handling ongoing tasks and resolving technical or functional issues.
  
• Collaborate with business and client stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions for business challenges.
  
• Communicate effectively with clients through demos, status updates, and walkthroughs of technical issues.
  
• Monitor task progress, conduct reviews, and ensure adherence to technical solutions and project standards.
  
• Mentor and support offshore teams, including new joiners and junior developers/testers, on technology-related aspects.
  
• Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams, performing peer reviews of deliverables.
  
• Ensure compliance with the project plan and provide ownership of assigned software elements.
  
• Document high-level and low-level system designs, analyze functional specifications, and estimate effort for development tasks.
  
• Develop, maintain, and unit test code, following established coding standards for maintainable and efficient solutions.
  
• Participate in peer code reviews, resolve coding issues/defects, and support system testing and code correction as needed.
  

Duties to be Performed:

• Lead teams of 10+ low-code developers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
  
• Design and build prototypes to communicate and validate ideas.
  
• Assist the team in managing ongoing development tasks and troubleshooting issues.
  
• Engage directly with business and customer stakeholders to understand requirements and propose effective solutions.
  
• Ensure the project plan is adhered to and provide ownership of assigned software modules.
  
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including high-level and detailed technical designs.
  
• Accurately estimate development effort and resource requirements.
