Job Description

In this role, you will work within a collaborative and innovative team focused on delivering high-quality solutions in Datacom testing. You'll engage with cross-functional teams, contributing to exciting projects that address real customer needs. Your efforts will directly influence product enhancements and improvements, fostering a sense of ownership and accomplishment. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Lead small-scale projects with clear objectives and manageable risks.
  • Analyze, design, test, and enhance integrated hardware/software systems based on customer requirements.
  • Reproduce and verify customer trouble tickets, diagnosing basic issues and providing root cause analysis or corrective actions.
  • Plan technical requirements by engaging directly with customer needs.
  • Work independently within established guidelines, applying best practices and industry knowledge to solve simple problems.
  • Contribute to process improvements through the application of analytical skills and practical experience.
  • Maintain and apply quality standards while participating in the evolution of processes and tools.
  • Execute test design, setup, execution, and reporting for L2 and L3 Datacom/Protocols.

Key Skills And Experience

Must-Have:

  • Graduate or Masters with 2-7 years of experience in Manual / automation testing with L2, L3 Datacom/Protocols testing (VLAN, xSTP, IGMP, ARP, 802.1x, QoS, DHCP, PPPoE, IPV6).
  • Proven experience in test design, test bed preparation/setup, test execution, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with traffic generators such as Spirent, IXIA, or PCTA.
  • Experience with automation using Python.

Nice-To-Have:

  • Prior work experience with Fiber, EPON, GPON, IPDSLAM, or FTTH product lines.
  • Good debugging skills applied to software testing.
  • Ability to take on challenging tasks and deliver under tight schedules.
